Lord, I believe King David was indeed a deep thinker. He loved and trusted You with his life.
I can almost visualize him tending to his sheep – maybe sitting at the edge of a grassy knoll overlooking the countryside. Thinking – reflecting – talking with You as I often do – enjoying the beauty of Your creation – feeling Your peace – realizing that You, Lord, are His source. You provided the rest and peace for his soul.
He probably wondered about his purpose in life as I, too, often do. He received the revelation from Your spirit that only You could care for him as he cared for his sheep; leading, feeding, protecting – looking only after their best interest.
Thank you, my Great Shepherd! I trust in You, alone. For You are my Source, my Protector, and the Keeper of my soul!
I love You, Lord. You are indeed the King of Glory!

Father ~ These moments with You are so dear to us, Your children. As we feel Your Spirit surrounding us, we can sense the Dove of Peace as He quietly enters. He gently comes in on the sweet morning breezes that waft through the window.
Oh Father, Your peace is so greatly needed not only in our lives, but within our families. We pray now that You would shine through us, Your vessels, so that we may be able to reach out our hands to Your people in need. Do mighty works in our lives so that they will see and know that You keep us, love us and provide for all of our needs.
In moments like these, we praise You for the countless times You have reached out to us. You have helped us up when we’ve fallen. You have washed us clean when we’ve dirtied ourselves. You have dried our tears when we have been hurt. Even when we’ve run away from home, You watch over us, waiting for us to return to You.
Oh gracious, loving Father – You have shown us that You are truly LOVE. Now as we meditate upon You, we feel Your presence with us. We are constantly reassured that Your Love surrounds us.
We praise You, Lord. We thank You for loving us. When it seems there is no hope for us, You show us the way. When we feel things are so confused, You untangle the web and sort everything out and You reveal clarity in all of our confusion. It’s as though You take all the mixed up pieces and put them where they belong, so that we, Your children, can clearly see the true path and direction in which we must walk.
Father, let us walk through the meadows together. Hold our hand. Take us to the mountaintop and show us Your world.
In Your presence, we find peace for our spirits and know we are loved. Hallelujah oh God of our lives. Stay with us.
Carry us through Your fields. Let Your gentle breezes blow upon us. Let us be like little children. Let us run together. Hold us, Father.
Let us walk with You along Your ocean shore, wading through the water from the breaking waves. As the mist from the waves gently caress our faces, we will look up to You, and smile. We know that You will return our smile.
We would run ahead knowing that when we look back, You will still be there walking toward us. We’ll run back to You and throw our arms around You and know that in return, we receive Your Love through Your gentle embrace.
Our Heavenly Father, We love You! We praise You! We adore You and glorify Your Holy Name!

yet, my heart is warmed by the fire of Your Spirit.
I have no other but You, My Lord.
You are my Source and my Deliverer.
You are my Hiding Place.
Your Spirit whispers Your law and righteousness into my heart.
In You, lies my trust.
In You, my faith rises.
I am grateful that You have chosen me.
The miraculous nature of my God ~
I, but a speck in time, I am found worthy by the
King of kings and Lord of lords!

Yet, lovely among the ranks of the Holy One of Israel.
How can this be that One so great as You, Lord,
would consider the likes of me?
How is it that You spend Your time caring for one such as I?

You have given me Your Word this morning as a testament of
Your will for my life.
I will open my mouth and Your Word shall be on my tongue.
Your Word shall be spoken, and Your will shall be accomplished.
I open my mouth.
I open my heart. I open my spirit to receive Your Word.
Speak through me. Live through me. Live in me. May this temple be filled with the awesome power and fire of Your Holy Spirit.
I submit myself to You and to Your will. Cleanse me and find me fit for Your service.

Write the song of my heart that I may sing it back to You; that I might bless You; that I might bring joy to Your heart.
My God, my Healer, my loving Father, I praise everything about You. There can never be anyone to take Your
place in my life!
Father, see me. Look inside and see Yourself; see Your reflection in every part of my being. You created me for Your pleasure. Pleasing the heart of my Father is my life’s quest; my life’s mission!
Holy, holy God, I am overwhelmed with Your love; totally consumed and enraptured by You! Can I ever, EVER do enough for You?
Receive my praises! Walk with me all the daylong. Speak with me. Reveal to me Your will and Your way. Reveal to me the way to bring more praise and more honor to You, Father.
Thank You, Lord. Thank you. I never want to leave our secret place. I want to dwell in Your sweet presence, FOREVER!
I know You will never leave me, but Father, I simply long to remain here, with You – within Your loving embrace,
finding my joy within the presence of my Lord.
Thank You for loving me, Lord. Thank You for allowing me this moment alone in Your sweet, sweet presence. Though I long for this moment to never end, I must face a new day with courage, determination,
and purpose.
Thank You for my time with You, and anoint me as I walk in obedience to You today, my Lord, my Savior, my true Love.

Here in the presence of my Lord, I commune with Him free of all outside distractions. I am home. I am where I love being. Here in the presence of my God and Father, totally focused on Him – His greatness – His protection; praising Him for His goodness – His faithfulness – His mercy – His love
and His forgiveness.
Jesus, my Lord and Savior, my heart sings out in joy and gratefulness to You for sacrificing You perfect life so that I can be reunited with our Father!
Thank You, Jesus! Your precious blood covers me – heals me – saves me – cleanses me.
Your body was broken and bruised for me.
You, Jesus, are the Bread of life. I lift my heart and spirit to You in praise as I stand before You
consuming the Bread of Life.
I praise You for victory over death. Through Your sacrifice and shed blood on that brutal cross, I am celebrating salvation and eternal life. I am healed by the blood You shed for me. I drink from the cup representing and remembering Your
ultimate sacrifice for me.
Jesus – my Savior!

Jesus – precious Lamb of God!
Lord Jesus, I surrender myself and all that I have to You in this day. Have Your will and Your way. I seek Your wisdom and understanding. I seek Your anointing and the knowledge of Your Spirit.
Speak to me – Speak through me. Let Your glory fill my household. Strike down the liar and the thief! Bruise the heel of the wicked one! Destroy and crush the unrighteousness that would dare to enter here to bring chaos and destruction!

I bow my heart in Your presence, my Lord. I sense Your peace, Your love, and the hope You provide for my life, surrounding me.
How can I praise You enough, Father? You unexpectedly plucked me from my old environment, which was good but lacked true and complete peacefulness, and You have placed me in this awesome and amazing sanctuary.
I am surrounded by the beauty of Your creation. I sit in the presence of my Creator enjoying and marveling over the splendor of His creation.
My heart is full. How can I praise You more for this favor and beauty? You favor me, Lord, and I rejoice, weeping tears of gratitude and profound love.
My love for You is so inadequate, even though immense, so inadequate in comparison to Your love – Your GREAT love for me.
Praise You, Father. You know me. You see me. You reach down to lift and carry me into
Your presence – into Your joy.
Thank You for loving me, Lord. Your love is true and everlasting. I am never forgotten or left without.
You, Lord, YOU supply ALL my needs – physical, spiritual, emotional. You give me all – from the abundance of Your hand, I receive. How could I be more blessed? You provide all my needs.
I praise You, my Father. I love you with my whole being. All that I am cries out to You
in love and gratefulness!

I know this is true because I believe You lead me. Your hand provides all for which my heart longs.
I am not a faithful servant, but You, my magnificent Lord,
You are faithful to me.
I love You, Lord. I love Your Spirit that guides me, holds me close, loves, comforts and instructs me in Your way. Sensing Your presence thrills my heart and causes my lips
to sing praises to Your name.
Great hope arises within me because of who You are. I receive Your promises and the best of Your hand. Your will is accomplished in me. Your work is performed through me.
May I always walk in obedience to You. Keep my eyes and heart clearly focused on You, my Lord! You’ve given me so much to share. Cause my eyes to never lose sight of my calling
to share all that I receive from You.
Holy Spirit, write the song. Consume my mind. Consume my hands. Rise up with me proclaiming the victorious power
of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
No uncomely circumstance that assails me shall shake my confidence in You or Your call on my life. Holy Spirit lead me. Teach me the ways of the King of Glory!

Unite Yourself to me, the unholy, and make me holy.

lonely soul for Your glory.

My Lord and my God, surely You are my refuge, my rock. In You is my trust. Lord, I come before You this morning praising You, glorifying You, setting Your name and Your statutes before me. Look upon me with mercy and forgive my sins against You.
Lord, You have healed my heart and built up my strength. Your desires are my desires. Though at times I stumble, fall and walk the wrong path, You are there to lead me back to Your pathway of righteousness. Keep me on Your highway. Keep me under Your wing.
I praise You for hearing my plea and look forward with great delight at what You are about to do within my life and within my household.
I have claimed You, Your ways and Your will for my life knowing You will lead me by the peaceful stream. You feed me from Your table and give me drink from Your streams of holiness.
I drink. I eat. I recline in Your presence. I listen attentively to Your words that give me life and strengthen me making me fit for the battle.
I am encouraged knowing it is You who walks with me. It is You who talks with me. It is You who loves and cares for me.
I lift my hands in Your presence and give glory to Your name.
You have rescued me from the enemy’s snare. You are my God and I, Your child. Create in me a new attitude. Fill me with Your Spirit. Consume me with Your fire. Burn out the sinful ways that govern my attitude and my heart. Set before me Your will that I might be blessed by Your hand. Strengthen me to walk courageously before You listening to Your voice, only.
Increase my wisdom and my knowledge. Open my eyes to Your truth that I am not allured or confused by the lies of my enemies. Make me a blessing to my children, my family, and my friends. Make me an encourager – encouraging others in the glory and delight of You. Give me new songs to sing. Fulfill Your Word in giving me a new song to write for Your honor and Your glory. Open my eyes to the true magnificence of who You are, my Savior, my Lord and my God.
