Rise and Shine

"See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to Your light, and kings to
the brightness of Your dawn." ~ Isaiah 60:2-3 (NIV)

The Lord has visited the men of the world in various ways.
He has given beyond measure to those who have sought diligently for his Glory and Grace.

He has given plentifully to those who have been in need.
He has given drink to the thirsty and sight to the blind.
He has been the fortress of tormented souls
on the dark, stormy nights.

He shall remain the Light in darkness.
His name shall forever be glorified among the saints.

His word shall be everlasting and shall never fail.
God cannot fail nor His word return void.

Mankind has walked in the newness of life for His namesake.

Now, the reward of eternal glory shall be manifested to the faithful – those who have remained faithful to Him throughout the fiery trials - those who have remained faithful to Him throughout the bitter storm and in the face of death.

Even unto sacrifice I shall deliver my saints to eternal glory
and I shall be the eternal flame of Hope to My beloved.

Rise to meet Me. Rise to meet your King.
Rise to meet the eternal Father, Creator of Heaven and earth -- Creator of good and Hater of evil.

Beloved children of the Almighty God,
rise and shine for the glory of God awaits.

Look to None but Me

"But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God, my Savior; my God will hear me."

I am your hiding place. I am your place of refuge.

Though loneliness surrounds you -

I come to remind you - it is My love that carries you through.

Don’t take My love lightly -

I give it abundant and free, that you may come to know Me –

that I may set you free.

For in Me is your hiding place – in Me is your peace.

I look to satisfy your longing, My child, glance up at Me.

Your days are but numbered –

and your numbers come from Me –

Don’t waste what I have given – but place your trust in Me.

I will give to you with no reservation –

I will give to you My all –

My child, turn your face to the north and pray upon My wall.

Your burden is not heavy – in many places light -

It is I who hears your longing - I carry you through the night.

My love shall give you greatness –

My love shall keep you clean – For in Me is your refuge -

it is I who sets you free.

Your time is in My hands and My hands shall carry thee –

to My high and Holy mountain,

where the new dawning you shall see.

Return My gift to others and you shall quite soon see,

That in your selfless giving – these hearts shall turn to Me.

I come to bring you glory – I come to set you free –

So in My face cry, “Holy” – and look to none but Me.

therefore I will wait for Him."
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him,

In these days of turmoil and strife ~
You are here.

You sustain my life.

When the darkness engulfs my shattered heart ~
You are here to heal and to grant a new start.

Your mercies are new each morning ~
My soul rises to bless You.
You fill my mouth with a new song.
My spirit soars to praise you.

No greater love than Your love ~
No greater peace than Thine.

Tho’ enemies seek to assail me ~
You rise from Your place to protect me.

Blessed Savior, Master and Lord ~
Glory and honor are Yours evermore.

I Linger In Your Presence

"You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever." ~ Psalm 16:11

When I rise up early in the morning
and my thoughts turn to You,

I utter praise for a brand new day.

I lift my hands in worship to my eternal King.

Accept my song of praise, Lord,

As to You my heart does sing.

You keep me through the night –

You greet me by morning’s light.

I feel your embrace. It warms my soul.

Father, to please You is this day’s goal.

As You awaken me to the light of day

Breathe Your Spirit on me - prepare the way.

Who greater than Thee to greet me?

Who greater than Thee to embrace me?

Lord, I linger in Your presence – my head bowed low.

Within Your presence – my soul aglow.

Go now before me to bless the way.

Anoint me to live victoriously all through
this brand new day.

No Turning Back

In my heart a quiet peace - a comforting calm.
Praise You, Lord, for Your soothing balm.

Glimpses of my life and of my future entrusted to Your care, provide the freedom for me to share.

Your Spirit whispers, "Relax, be still.
Your heavenly Father is leading you still."

I don't know the journey, though on His path
and by His Hand I am led.

No turning back!
